Sometimes, I refer to my painting style as 'magical realism,' and there's no better example of what I mean than "Fury."
In person, especially in natural daylight, the wave crests of "Fury" seem lit from within, teals and light greens that glitter against a sky that's as commanding a presence as the water below. "Fury" was most recently included in the Colors of Humanity Gallery's 2020 "Water" exhibition, where it received a special "Noteworthy" designation.
